Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SoundForge platform and services provided by SoundForge Inc., a company registered in Tennessee, USA.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoundForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service is available at soundforge.us.

2. Description of Service

SoundForge provides AI-powered audio post-production tools including noise removal, audio leveling, mastering, transcript-based editing, and stem separation. The Service processes audio files uploaded by users and returns processed outputs.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. SoundForge Inc. is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to audio content you upload to SoundForge. By using the Service, you grant SoundForge Inc. a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SoundForge to process content that infringes on intellectual property rights, contains illegal material, or violates any applicable laws. SoundForge Inc.reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

SoundForge Inc. provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Privacy Policy

SoundForge Inc. ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use SoundForge.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, payment details) and information generated through your use of the Service (audio files, processing history, usage analytics). We also collect standard technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and device information.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, communicate with you about your account, and comply with legal obligations. Audio content is processed by our AI systems and is not used to train models without your explicit consent.

Data Retention

Uploaded audio files are retained for 30 days after processing to allow re-downloads, then automatically deleted. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for 90 days after deletion.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request data portability or object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@soundforge.us.
